Krusevo represents an interesting story.
The town in many cases can be opposition to everything that happens arround Macedonia, whether you refer it to natural occurrence or any social flows in the society.
For example, during the early winter when almost everywhere in the country the towns and cities are covered with fog, Krusevo stands over the fog and shines with warmness and clear sun view. But, when we go through January the roles change and then the fog is over Krusevo and rest of Macedonia is sunny.
Other aspect of your stay in Krusevo are the prizes. Drinking coffee becomes a custom in our way of life, not only in Krusevo but everywhere in Macedonia. On top of that, when in krusevo you cannot miss to sit in the sun a drink a cup of coffee.
As an illustration, in some of the coffee shops and bars you can find a Nescafe for half a Euro or 30 denars. Compared to other places where this type of coffee is Euro and in other cities almost 2 Euros.
You can walk through the town in 2 or 3 days. The first day yo can make a longer walk to the Holy Transfiguration monastery, and on the way back drink that coffee I have talked about that is almost for free.
Day No. 2: Make a travel in time and visit the seven museums and other historical localities that will change your perception of Krusevo.
Day No.3: You can make yet another walk and use the fresh air. Go through the street of the town and head to Meckin Kamen and the place where international competitions in paragliding are held. After that, come back and try some of the food of Krusevo, like Krusevska Pita.
All in all, Krusevo can offer a lot but if you decide to come just to take a rest from your busy life then just sit in your vehicle and come here and enjoy the peace and slow pace of life that Krusevo people practice.
